SMART 2013 Goals

S- Specific
M- Measurable
A- Attainable
R- Realistic
T- Time Based

Before deciding on my goals for this year, I made sure to ask myself if all of these goals were SMART. I put a lot of thought into these goals, and I'm ready to have a great year.

My SMART goals for 2013, and the steps I will take to reach them:

Pay a full tithing
*Make it a priority. Pay it FIRST, before any of my other bills, so that I don't ever have to worry about it
*Live worthy and attend church meetings, so I will have the desire to pay my tithing
*Gain a strong testimony of tithing
*Have faith in Christ

Work out every day (except Sundays, of course, and occasional Saturdays and holidays)
*Keep a good schedule (as good as I can considering my work schedule.)
*Care enough about my body to stay healthy
*Eat good foods
*Stay motivated

Be temple worthy, and attend the temple often
*Read scriptures daily
*Know that I can't do it alone, and let Christ and the bishop help me
*Pray often
*Have faith in Christ
*Don't give into stupid, silly temptations
*Make time to attend the temple

Read the Book of Mormon everyday
*Wake up every morning to my alarm and read my scriptures
*Take time afterward to ponder what I read
*Pray before I read to make sure that I'm getting out of it what I need to

Save up money to go to school
*Live on a budget
*Take out money each pay check and put it into savings
*Find out exactly what I want to major in, so I can have the motivation to get done with school

Magnify my calling (compassionate service committee)
*Constantly find ways to serve
*Pray and seek guidance
*Read my scriptures for guidance
*Attend the temple

CHANGE

Last week our bishop told us in sacrament meeting that this week we would be meeting an hour early for sacrament meeting and then coming back at two with four other wards for an "important" meeting. They didn't tell us what it was for, but I automatically knew that it was for a ward boundary change.

I wasn't too upset because I thought that we would still be in a ward with a lot of people from our same ward. Well, that wasn't really the case. It was just our street that got moved out of our ward into another ward because our ward was so big. I only knew like 5 families in our new ward now. It was kind of a hard change because I just BARELY got to know everybody and to get close to them.

I really dislike change... a lot. Eventually this will be a good change, but it's going to be hard adjusting and meeting new people all over again. The Lord knows what's best for everybody, and I know that this is what he wanted. (:

Also, my life might be changing a lot more soon. I need to decide whether to move back to emery/price area and go to CEU, coach tennis, and TRY to find another job OR if I want to stay here, keep my full time job, and go to SUU. I was set on SUU, but everything keeps on changing. I need to know soon because I need to apply for school and for housing. I've prayed about it and I still just don't know what to do. I will continue to keep praying, fasting, and getting blessings. I know whatever happens will workout and it will be good, but it's going to be super hard either way.

LIFE

Life has been super crazy lately! I got a job finally! I now work at Convergys. It's a pretty good job. I work there full time and I get paid pretty good, so I'm excited to work there!

My life schedule:
*Wake up at about 7 sometimes 3 in the morning depending on what time my brother works to watch the kids.
*Stef gets home from work at about 1 so that's what time I shower and get ready
*Go to work at three-thirty
*Get off work at midnight and come home

That's what my life basically consits of so I don't get much time to do anything, I hardly get time to sleep. I have Saturdays and Sundays off which is good because that's the time I have to catch up on my sleep unless I babysit.

This is kind of off topic but it has to do with my life. I LOVE my ward in Cedar City. They're so welcoming, loving, and kind! I go to a family ward so that I can take Rachel. I also just don't really like singles wards. Singles wards are basically like seminary for 3 hours. You get those people who text constantly or talk constantly, those people who make smart remarks because they don't want to be there, and people who think they're better than everybody else and have to comment for like an hour about everything! I also hate how singles wards are basically to push you to get married. I go to church to better myself and to feel the spirit, I don't go to church to find a guy to get married.

I was so scared at first going into a home ward because I thought I was going to get a visiting teaching partner who was like 80 who I had to drive around. My visiting teaching partner is actually only 21 and we visit teach a girl who is 19 so it's pretty exciting. (:

Other than church, work, and babysitting I really have no life! I love my life nonetheless and I wouldn't do anything to change it. I have awesome friends and family who are always there to help me and support me when I need them! (:

SISTERS

This isn't the best picture of me and my sister, but it's the only one I have on my computer right now! I love my sister! We are five years apart, and yet so close. Growing up she was always the bossy one. She definitely played the "big" sister role. She always wanted the bigger stuff, she gave me the things she didn't want, and she bossed me around A LOT. I was the little annoying one who didn't ever want to help her clean our room, I just wanted to run around and play. I always wanted to hang out with my sister and her friends which she didn't always like. She wanted her alone time alot, but I loved my sister. I looked up to my sister a lot. She started playing tennis, and so I started playing tennis. Almost everything that my sister did, I wanted to be just like her. Sometimes we were the best of friends, and sometimes we were the worst enemies!

Riley and Rachel are about the same as me and my sister. They're about four and a half years apart. Riley is the bossy older sister. She controls what she gets, and gives Rachel what she doesn't want. Rachel won't help Riley clean their room, she just runs around and plays! Rachel just loves her sister so much. She wants to see her all of the time. Whenever they're together they always fight, but whenever they're apart they whine that they want to see eachother. Rachel looks up to Riley so much. Every time Riley does something or everytime she has a toy, Rachel wants to be just like her. It's crazy how these two are so much alike me and my sister! (:

LOVE < 3

Frist of all I don't like Valentine's Day for the fact that a lot of people just give their lovers flowers because they feel "forced" or they feel guilty that they don't give their lover flowers because it's a holiday. I don't even like to call it a holiday, it's just another day. Valetine's day is actually the day that Saint Valentine was murdered, so there you go, let's celebrate somebodies death by giving each other flowers! I would rather get flowers and be loved on some random day than get flowers on the same day as everybody else. It's not as special, and not as unique. I would want it to be special for me, not shared by everybody else.

Even though I don't like to celebrate Valentine's Day, I do believe in love. I would just like to dedicate a post to the people in my life that I love, even though I tell them all the time.

I love my parents. My dad has been my biggest supporter through everything. He always encouraged me to get good grades and to do my best in life. He played tennis with my countless number of hours. He always helped me with my homework and my computer problems. My dad is truely amazing. My mom has helped me so much in life. She is the strongest person I know, and she has the most faith of everybody I know. My testimony grows stronger everyday because of her. She makes me want to continue to better myself. I love her so much!

I love my siblings. Travis, Jeremy, Tyler, Nathan, Tiffany, Justin, and Adam. I love them all. We have faught, laughed, smiled, cried, yelled, and loved each other. I love them for different reasons. They have all supported me and I love them for that!

I love my nieces and nephews. Little kids just bring such a light into my life. They make life seem so simple! I love spoiling each one of them. One day I would love to be a mother, but for now I get to enjoy spoiling and loving my nieces and nephews.

I love my friends. Jessica Colby has been my best friend since I was very young! She has been there for me through some of my hardest times in life! We have gotten into so many fights, but nothing can ruin our true friendship. I love her to death! Jennifer Jensen is such an amazing person. I met her in high school. I love talking with her, shopping with her, and running with her. Naomi Snow is such an amazing example to me. She has such a strong testimony and I look up to her for that. We are very similar and I love that. I just love her. (:. I love all of my tennis girls! I loved our time working hard, having fun, talking, laughing, messing around, and our bus trips. My tennis girls have supported me throughout high school and they've always been there to cheer me on.

I love all of my aunts, uncles, and cousins. I have such a huge family and I love it! I love getting together with all of my family. We love to play spoons, scum, and smash. We are very voilent. We have broken bones, ripped a blanket, and broken a table while playing spoons. Even though we have a huge family, I have a special and different relationship with each one of them!

Elizabeth Ann Frisbie

I am an aunt again! YAY! On January 17th my sister-in-law had her baby. Nathan and Amanda decided to name her Elizabeth Ann Frisbie. She is named after both grandmas, and two aunts. My mom's and my sister Tiffany's middle name is Ann, and Amanda's mom's and her sister's middle name is Elizabeth. Also, my niece Riley's middle name is Elizabeth so she was really excited.(: Elizabeth looks exactly like my grandma Christofferson (my mom's mom). I love her so much! Compared to Rayson she is so tiny! She is way sweet, I could hold her all day!

Xander just loves his little sister! Most youngest kids will get jealous because they're not getting as much attention but Xander is just the opposite. He absolutely adores his little sister. (:

Papa and Elizabeth.

Nate is so excited to be a dad. I am so proud of my brother and the steps that he had to take to get to this place in his life. He had to turn his life completely around. He is a great dad!

Grandma and the babies. She just loves them so much. Even though she can't get up a do a lot of things she is still an awesome grandma and an excellent mom! The kids absolutely love her!

I love her lots! Compared to Rayson so is so tiny so I could hold her all day long.

I love this picture. My mom would NOT let anybody hold her. Once she got her, there was no getting her back. My mom loves Elizabeth!

I have never seen a baby stick out their tongue as much as Elizabeth does. She loves her tongue!

And yet again, her tongue. (:

Merry Christmas!

Since I am living with my brother, I got to be in their family Christmas picture this year. We weren't even going to do a picture, but considering we have three brothers in jail and a sister in Georgia, we thought it would be a good Christmas present!

Christmas this year was good, but it definitely didn't feel like Christmas. There was no snow! I have had a white Christmas before, but I have definitely never had a "wet" christmas before. I was so sick of the rain. This was also my first Christmas away from home, so that just added on to the non Christmas feeling. This year I had to work the day before and the day after Christmas, which wasn't exactly fun.

On Christmas Even we went to our cousin Kolden's house. We ate dinner with her and her family and just talked for a while. Once we got home we had to wait for Rachel to get to bed so we could wrap her presents and put them under the tree. Getting her to go to bed is nearly impossible! We were up until about 2 in the morning before we could wrap her presents! The reason we don't wrap her presents before is because she would unwrap them before christmas.

Christmas morning Trav, Stef, and I woke up before the kids did! We went and woke up Rachel and she was super ornery! We told her that Santa had came and she could honestly care less. Then we told her that he brought her presents and she jumped right up and ran into the living room! As soon as she got in there she just started grabbing presents and wanting to open them. She thought ALL of the presents were her's! We had to explain to her that Santa had brought all of us presents.

After we opened presents we went to pick up Riley from her mom's and then we headed to Beaver to visit my brother Tyler. Visting Tyler was probably the best part of my Christmas. I miss him so much! It makes me sad when my brothers make stupid mistakes to get them in trouble because I love them so much and I want them to do good!

Riley got to open her presents when we got home. Santa brought her a bike and she was way excited! Rachel got pots and pans to cook like her mom, and she also got a cinderella baby with a stroller and a swing. Rachel loves being like her mom. Rayson got a toy that he absolutely loves! I got him a little monkey suit and he looks so cute in it! (:

I got to come home on the 27th and visit with my parents. It's nice visiting with my parents. My parents spoil me so much! Most youngest kids will tell you that they are not spoiled, but I definitely am spoiled. I was expecting to get maybe like one little present since i am moved out now. I got and iPod touch, $50 iTunes card, $60 maurices card, CTR ring/necklace, and a movie! All of my other siblings got chocolates and a present for each of their kids!

I also got to visit with my brother Nathan and his family when I came home because they came and visited for a couple of days. They were going to stay longer, but they weren't even supposed to come at all because Amanda's doctor didn't want her to travel. She is due in about a month, but she has never carried a baby full term so she could have it any day. Since it snowed they decided they better go home before get stuck here without her doctor, which is totally understandable.

Christmas ended up being pretty good this year! It was fun to see the kids excitement when they saw that Santa had came and brought them presents. Kids definitely make Christmas exciting!
