Tennis is really over?

Yes, Melanie, tennis is really over. :( I seriously don't know what I'm going to do with myself now that tennis is over. It's pretty much my life. Do you know that thing called senioritis? Well, I had it when I was a sophomore, and if it wasn't for tennis then I probably would've dropped out. I wouldn't really have dropped out, but you get the point.

This season has been great. Gabbi was a really great partner! We won every one of our matches except for two. I really feel good about how well we played this year. Gabbi and I took 5th in state, and that makes me happy.

Tom and my dad were great coaches. I'm not just going to miss tennis, but I'm going to miss playing tennis with my dad every summer and I'm also going to miss Tom. (Yes, that did take a lot of guts to say that I would miss Tom.)

I can't wait until this summer so that I can coach all of the girls so they can have a wonderful season next year. :)This picture is going on our "I can't stand Tom" fan club page. :) I'm gonna miss this kid. (yes I know, I've said it twice! oh no! what's wrong with me?)

ScHoOl AnD tEnNiS!!!

I haven't posted in a while, what's new? I decided that I should actually get on here and post something, so I decided to write about school and tennis because that's about the only thing going on in my life right now, well except for working.

I'll start with school since that's the worst part. When school started my schedule sucked! I hated it, but not I got out of a class so it's not so stressful. My favorite class so far is french. It's so fun to learn, and I really like the teacher. Coach Dean is a great teacher! I also love seminary. I wish that I didn't have to miss it every tuesday and thursday for tennis, but I think I'll live. :) My least favorite class would probably have to be biology. I have no common sense, and I just suck at science altogether!

Tennis has been great so far. I just love playing tennis, and I could probably play it 24/7 if my body didn't require eating and sleeping. I worked really hard during the summer, so I hope that we will do well this year. So far we've played four matches and Gabbi and I have won every match except for one. We've played against Delta, Carbon, Richfield, and North Sanpete. We won everybody by a lot except for Richfield. I think that we just didn't have the confidence that game because we can definitely beat them. Tomorrow we play against Manti and they're good. I'm super nervous but I know that if we try our best and if we have confidence that we will do well.

Well.. that was my wonderful, boring update! :D

Christofferson Family Reunion 2009

Friday the 24th, and Saturday the 25th, we had our Christofferson family reunion. It was at Willow Park in Lehi. I had tons of fun. It was great to see all of my aunts, uncles, and cousins. I love all of my family so much! We did a lot of stuff like roasting marshmallows, card games, water balloon volleyball, volleyball, and just a lot of other games. I really had a lot of fun.
It was so weird to have a family reunion without my Grandma Chris (Christofferson.. DUH!) I love her and miss her so much!Shalece and I

Happy 6th Birthday Riley!

Yesterday, June 20, was my niece's 6th birthday. I can't believe that she's already 6. It seems like five minutes ago she was born! She's growing way too fast!

I was going to go down to Cedar City for her birthday, but I had just got home from girl's camp the day before. She was sad that I couldn't come, and I was just as sad as her. Last year I got to be there for her birthday because I was there for summer games. Summer games was the same time this year but I had girl's camp.

I can't wait for them to come up next weekend so I can give her her present. I also can't wait to go swimming with her! She makes me so happy! yay! :)

Here's some pictures of us! I just love her!

Girl's camp!

It's been a super long time since I've posted! I just haven't thought of anything to post. Nothing really exciting has happened in my life since the last time I posted!

The theme for girl's camp this year was Oh The Places You'll Go. We got the theme from the Dr. Suess book. Our wards theme was that we would go graduate from high school and get an education. All of us girls made some cute graduation hats!

Tuesday, June 16 I left for girl's camp. The first night was JC night, and it was amazing! I love all of those girls. The dinner was super good that night, and we even got catered (SP?). Every JC night we always make something for us and the other girls that come up the next day. This year we made bracelets that have RPS on it. That stands for Read Pray Smile. Those were the challenges that the youth got at the beginning of the year.

I was so excited when all of the other girls got to come up. We had so much fun. The first day that everybody was up there we did our skit. We messed up a couple of times but that's what made it funny!

It was really rainy the whole time, and there was a lot of mud but nobody ever really complained. Everybody had a positive attitude, and i'm thankful for that. I'm glad that I got to go because I had tons of fun. I'm also thankful for the leaders and all of the work that they put into this. They're so fun, and I love them all!

I'm can't believe that I'm done with girl's camp! It seems like five minutes ago I was twelve. I'm going to miss girl's camp so much! I had a great time! :)

Carbon's Prom 2009!

On Saturday, May 2nd I went to Carbon High's prom. It was pretty fun. My group was Randy and I, Brett and Brandi, Sydney and Connor, and Jordan and Tiffany. We had so much fun. For out date we just went and played a game and Randy and Brandi's house. We played apples to apples and it was fun/way funny. When we got sick of playing apples to apples, we decided to go to Walmart to play the Find the Item game.

The Find the Item game is where everybody says a description that the item should have and then whoever comes back with the item that best fits the description wins. Since we had a lot of people, we played as dates so that we wouldn't have like five billion descriptions for each thing.

We all went back to the houses to get ready. I got ready at Brandi's house because I didn't want to go all the way back home just to get ready. Brandi did my hair, and I loved it. It took me forever to get ready because we had to figure out sleeves with my scarf for my dress. Thank goodness for safety pins!

After we got ready we went to Sydney's house to eat dinner. We had ham, potato skins, salad, and cheesecake. It was a way yummy dinner. Sydney's parents took a lot of pictures of us after we ate dinner. Taking pictures was very fun.

We went to Brett's house after we were done at Sydney's because Brett's parents wanted to see all of us and take pictures. I seriously thought I was going to go blind from all of the pictures that were taken that night.

When we went to the prom, Randy and I watched the promenade, and then we went and took pictures. I don't know what it is with prom and pictures, but I really didn't want to take any more pictures.

The prom was pretty fun. I'm glad that my group was fun and actually danced the whole time. There was a lot of immodest dress which wasn't too good. I'm not sure that you could call some of those dresses. Brandi and I went up to request some songs and I never wanted to go up in the front again. The front was lap dance central, and it was so loud up there. Other than those few things, the prom was great!

We left the prom early because we were getting tired of dancing, and we really wanted ice cream. When we were leaving, I got this brilliant idea to steal the big arch of balloons just to see how far we could get with it. We took the biggest arch and started going. Everybody was looking at us! When we got to the front door, the security guard was like "did you lose some balloons?" and was thinking "no, you guys lost some balloons." I really thought he was going to get mad at us but he didn't. We weren't expecting to get away with all of them but we did. We stuffed them in the back of the Suburban and we left.

We went to JB's to get all you can eat ice cream. Brandi and I were going to have a contest to see who could eat the most ice cream and everybody else refused. Turns out Brandi and I only ate one cup of ice cream and everybody else ate two or three. It was pretty funny.

After ice cream, we went to Arby's and walked up to the drive thru window and knocked on it. We sang happy birthday to the guy working, just for fun, even though it wasn't his birthday. It was pretty fun. We just went and drove around a little bit and then we went home.

Prom was way fun. I'm glad that I got the chance to go. My group was the best, and they made it so much fun. I'm really glad that I went to Carbon's prom!

My Life :)

Tennis is pretty much my life. I can't even tell you how much I miss tennis. Whenever we have a day with good weather I have something to do, it's really sad. Everyday that I do have time to play tennis it's bad weather. I really just wish we had some indoor courts somewhere in Emery in Carbon county so that the weather wouldn't be a problem.

Sometimes I wish that this year would just be over so that tennis could start. Other days I wish it wouldn't come because I don't want to be a senior. I don't want tennis to be over with. I really don't know what I'm going o do without tennis.

Tennis makes me feel good. It's like I forget about everything when I'm playing tennis. I'm glad that I started playing tennis when I was younger because I love it!

Left top to bottom: Stevie, Adri, me, Chelsea.
Right top to bottom: Kaitlin, Courtney Reynolds, Rebecca, and Whitney

I will miss Adri, Kaitlin, Courtney, Rebecca, and Whitney so much! I will also miss Courtney Sitterud and all of the other seniors that played this year. I was partners with Adri for two years and I will probably miss her the most. I couldn't have asked for a better partner. I love all of these girls!
