Fathers Blessings

This week I have been really sick. I woke up a lot early monday morning feeling way sick. On Monday I couldn't go to school because I was so sick.

Since my mom couldn't help me because of her health problems, I had to get everything I needed for myself. She did get me some stuff that I needed which was pushing it. She always pushes herself and I'm thankful to have a mom like that.

I didn't eat anything the whole day. Nothing ever sounds good to eat when you're sick, and I definately didn't have the energy to go fix anything to eat.

Monday night, after we had our bedtime prayer, I asked my dad for a blessing. He blessed me that I could feel better and that I could have the strength to go to school. The next day I was able to go to school feeling better. It just amazes me how much the lord blesses us. Usually when I'm sick, I'm sick for like a week or two. It's not just a one day thing. I was still a little sick on tuesday, but I did have the strength to go to school.

Fathers blessings are the most amazing thing. I'm glad that I have a father who holds the preisthood so that he can help me when I need it. I used to feel like I was bothering him to ask for a blessing, because I got them a lot. I have learned that there is no such thing as too much blessings. If you need the blessing, then it's so much better to ask for one becuase God will help you. He's amazing that way.

GRRR!

So as you can probably tell by the title, I am not happy! This week has been a horrible week. I hope it gets lots better.

Today we just lost our tennis match. We won the first set and played really well. The second and third set we did horrible. I'm not even being sarcastic. After our match we found out that their first doubles are undefeated and that we're the first team to beat them in a set. That made me feel really good.

Kaitlin and Courtney have been doing really good this year. They are undefeated. It makes us look very bad because we have lost a lot.

Since no one understands Tennis, I'm going to explain this. Me and Adri are first doubles and Kaitlin and Courtney are second doubles. First doubles is the high doubles on the varsity team, therefore, we play against better players. Usually in doubles, the first doubles is way better than the second doubles. Our doubles teams are way close together. That's why it looks like we're doing bad is because we have to play against the harder team.

We definately haven't been playing the best we can play because we're good. I know that we can beat a lot of teams, just hopefully we can get it together.

Also, I've been really sick this week! I hate being sick. Usually when i get sick I'm sick for like two weeks. On monday I couldn't even go to school because I was throwing up all of the time. It was not good at all. This week is midterm and I have to tennis matches this week, so of course I had to come to school on Tuesday.

Today, when I was playing tennis, my energy was drained. I hate that I have no energy when I'm sick. Also, my back hurt today. It was probably one of the worst weeks I've had in a long time.

So enough feeling sorry about myself, and enough boring everybody. I just thought I would type that because I have nothing better to do on this fabulous(not at all) evening.

Juan Diego!

The Juan Diego tennis match was the best match by far. Adri and I lost but it was still way fun. Kaitlin and Courtney won, and that made me really exited. I'm so happy for them. That's the first time anyone on varsity has one against Juan Diego in 5 years. Adri and I did really good, but Juan Diego was amazing. I hope we can do a lot better the next match we play against Juan Diego.

As for our match against Uintah, we won. It was really exiting to win. They were a pretty good team. I just love Tennis!

So, I'm really annoyed of posting blogs about Tennis so hopefully I can think of something more interesting!

3 hours and 20 minutes!

Yesterday, September 3rd, we played Tennis at North Sanpete. It was a fun match, but yet very dissapointing. Adri and I lost.

The first set was 6,6 so we had to go to a tie breaker. We won that tie breaker. The, the second set it was 6,6 so we had to go to another tie breaker. We lost that one. Then the last set we were pretty close and had a lot of deuces but they won the third set.

The match was very dissapointing and so close. I know that we could've won, but we just didn't play our best. We played for 3 hours and 20 minutes! If you don't call that "in shape", i don't know what is!
